Community Service Grants

Through our fundraising efforts, we give grants back to the community to organizations that are helping women and children.  Many organizations have received funds from SISN over our 65 years of service.  Here is a list of those organizations, although not complete by any means.

Compassion Planet, People Reaching Out, River Oak Center for Children, WEAVE, Women's Empowerment, Sacramento Children's Receiving Home, Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center, Wind Youth Services, Child Abuse Prevention Council, California Eagles Golf Program, Main Avenue School, Sacramento Loaves & Fishes, B Street Theater, Gateway House, Project Linus – Sacramento, Girls on the Run, People Reaching Out, Soroptimist International of the Americas Disaster Relief Funds Foundation, and St. Johns Program for Good.

We made comfort kits for Wind Youth Services for homeless youth that come through their facility.

Recipients will be notified by mid-February and invited to attend a reception in March 2020 to receive their grants.

Requests for more than $1,000 should be addressed to: SISN Long Range Committee, P.O. Box 214894, Sacramento, CA 95821
