Community Service Grants

Through our fundraising efforts, we give grants back to the community to organizations that are helping women and children.  Many organizations have received funds from SISN over our 65 years of service.  Here is a list of those organizations, although not complete by any means.

Our service grants for fiscal year 2020-2021 are named Joanne Briggs Community Service Grants

Joanne Briggs joined Soroptimist in 1986. She is an active member and has served in many capacities including President and Secretary.  She is a generous benefactor and has again donated funds that will help us make community grants possible.

If you think your project could benefit from our available service funds, please download, and fill out our grant application.  Deadline for applications is November 19, 2021.

NOTE: because of Covid starting in March 2020, our major fundraisers were canceled and the funds we typically would have had were not available.  Our fundraising in the last fiscal year ending June 2021 was a bit more successful but it was still not at our pre-Covid levels.  Last year and this year, member Joanne Briggs, contributed a substantial sum to our Service funds which help to make our community services grant possible.  Applicaitons can be submitted now.
